I’ve not been playing much poker, just a lil online and no live poker at all. I’ve just not been in the right mindset for it. Not sure if it’s summer or what but just no passion for it at the moment. I decided that what was in order was a new online poker journal. My old one is bulging at the seams and I’ve been using until there is no more room to write in it.
I prefer to “make” my own journals instead of buying store-bought ones or using online tools. I find that creating my own journal puts something a bit personal into it and makes me feel more accountable to my play and my bankroll. Each time I put together a new journal, I look through my old one and “tweak” the subject matter a bit. This new journal that I just finished putting together feels special to me. I bought a journal with one of grumpynut’s designs on the front of it and I’ve edited my categories for the current games I’m playing. I have a feeling that this journal is a fresh poker start for me and I’m excited about it.
